THE TEAMTheresa Famularo and Will Sheehan are the force behind Cre8ion and both share an enormous passion for the performing arts. With their company they are producing and promoting unique theatrical and inspirational entertainment for Australia and the world. Both have had a long association with the entertainment and event industries in Australia and internationally and bring some 35 years of combined professional experience to their venture. Theresa FamularoTheresa has extensive experience both nationally and internationally in stage and production management through to art direction and tour management. From Sydney Harbour to The Great Hall of The People (Beijing, China), some selected highlights include: Art Director of Sydney New Year's Eve 2005, 2006 & 2008. Stage Management Department for the Opening & Closing Ceremonies of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. Production Manager of the Cultural Festival of the VIth Gay Games 2002. Technical Director of the world tour of Cats for The Really Useful Company Asia Pacific 2003 to 2006. Production Coordinator of the 2007 Australian national tour of The Phantom of The Opera. Production Manager of Tempus Two Winery Launch 2003 in the Hunter Valley featuring Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. Tour Director of the European tour of Fuerzabruta for Concert Productions International (CPI) - awarded the Herald Angel at the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Will SheehanWill is a highly respected member of the performing arts community in Australia, with leading experience in the theatre, film and television industries. His skills range from theatre production, publicity, promotions & marketing, through to film & television production and events management. Some selected highlights include: Created a performing arts business consultancy, Wilburforce, in 2006 to assist companies in Sydney's small to medium sector. 2000-2005 Will was General Manager of the Griffin Theatre Company based in Sydney and dedicated to new Australian writing for the stage. During this time he produced and toured 17 world premiere productions for Griffin and managed its home - the historically significant Stables Theatre in Kings Cross (formerly the legendary Nimrod Theatre). Producer for Griffin's 2006 world premiere production of Holding The Man adapted by Tommy Murphy from the book by Timothy Conigrave - awarded the 2007 NSW Premier's Literary Award and an AWGIE Award. Associate Producer and 2nd Unit Director of Tosca - A Tale of Love and Torture a feature length observational style documentary about the opera world in Australia - awarded the Golden Gate Award for Best Documentary at the San Francisco International Film Festival in 2001. With the current endeavors into producing and promoting both Theresa and Will are well placed to bring together all their skills, talent and passion for infinite possibilities in CRE8ION. |
